To ensure best results, calibrate your pH meter before each day of use, or when switching pH ranges. Use buffers within the pH range of the samples you are testing and match the temperature of the buffer to the samples, and discard calibration solutions when finished.

Our pH 4.01 solution is made from potassium hydrogen phthalate buffer, and acid red 249. All components can be traced to NIST-certified reference materials.
