Description

Hydrochloric acid is a solution of hydrogen chloride, water, and other chemical compounds.

Despite its high corrosivity, hydrochloric acid is one of the least hazardous acids and one of the most stable.

It is the main component of stomach acid and a natural pH corrector.

Osorno produces 32% (20 Be) non-fuming hydrochloric acid. It is currently undergoing the ANSI 60 certification process.

Osorno performs water analyses for pH correction agent consumption. Please contact Osorno regarding the selection of your ideal pH corrector and its dosing rate.

Dosing Rate	Hydrochloric acid's dosing rate depends on its application: - For effective chlorine disinfection, chlorine is most effective in a pH range between 6.8 and 7.5. - Hydrochloric acid can be used to adjust pH before adding coagulant. For this use, the dosing rate of hydrochloric acid depends on the coagulant. Please contact Osorno to find out dosing rate and consumption of pH correction agent.
Features	- The pH level in swimming pools must be within a range of 7.4 – 7.6 to support water clarity and avoid irritation. - Water disinfection with chlorine is most effective when the pH is around 7.2 - 7.4. - The efficiency of coagulation processes depends on the water's pH and type of coagulant. pH range in general fluctuates between pH 5 and 6.5.
