Description

The user-friendly LaMotte SMART3 Colorimeter is a direct reading colorimeter for complete on-site water analyses.
More than 75 pre-programmed tests optimized for LaMotte test reagent systems can run on this compact instrument.
A multi-LED optical system automatically selects the optimum wavelength for scanning water samples.  This system allows the water analyst to simply select the test and put in the water sample with a reagent. The microprocessor also allows the user to enter up to 25 tests for custom reagent systems.
Features include a USB port to interface with your PC, a six-button mechanical switch keypad, a self-diagnostics system, a power-saving automatic shut-off function, and factory-set calibration.
The colorimeter can hold up to 500 data points.
We have developed special tests for LaMotte's Smart3 colorimeter, including:

• a high-range hydrogen peroxide test for applications in agriculture, animal husbandry, and hatcheries, where standard measuring ranges are insufficient;
• a high-range chlorine dioxide test for concentrated chlorine dioxide solutions

For these tests, the Smart3 Colorimeter requires our programming; the Avalon Institute is glad to offer this service.
