Description
The IGCP 521 2010 conference was held by the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) at the Hydrobiological Station of Rhodes, Greece. The conference was the sixth and last conference for IGCP 521.
It was held in the Aegean part of "the Corridor" and focused on the superposition of successive Quaternary sea level changes and vertical tectonics that resulted in the formation of marine terraces at various elevations.
The IGCP 521 2010 conference finalized the project's activities and focused on maximizing its exposure by sharing results in key international journals and project web sites to ensure accessibility and future potential for participants, the scientific community at large, agencies, and the public in order to consolidate scientific achievements.
