Osorno sells potassium carbonate as an Acidity Neutralizer for winemaking. Potassium carbonate helps lower the acidity of wine.
You can use our Acidity Neutralizer at the beginning of winemaking if the initial acidity is very high, in the middle of winemaking if acidity is preventing fermentation, or after the winemaking process if the wine's acidity will affect its taste.
The amount of Acidity Neutralizer must always be based on the acidity of the wine sample.
